The Orangeville Agricultural Society is a not-for-profit organization that owns and operates a multi-use rental facility, and is host to the annual Orangeville Fair. We are looking to hire for our Office Administrator/Fair Coordinator position, with employment beginning in the month of February.
This position will require a commitment of up to 35 to 40 hours per week during the busy season (May to October), with the remainder of the year requiring approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, with the in-office schedule being negotiable amongst the successful candidate, the Board and the Facility Manager. The successful candidate will be required to attend committee meetings after business hours, in order to develop cooperative relationships with OAS staff, boards, committees and the public, in addition to regular office hours.
Exceptional computer skills are required in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher, as well as the ability to maintain and expand our Social Media presence, and work within a budget framework. Experience with Simply Accounting is considered an asset. Police check may be required.
