The Orangeville Agricultural Society is looking for new members!
The Society is 160 years old and remains an active and progressive organization that serves the agricultural community and the residents of this region. We are extending an invitation to men, women and young people to join us and become a MEMBER OF THE SOCIETY.
The Orangeville Agricultural Society is a not-for-profit organization, managed by the members. The 84 acre, multi-purpose facility located in the Town of Mono, welcomes approximately 250 events each year, ranging from small business meetings, wedding receptions and musical events to large trade exhibits and a variety of livestock shows.
The Board of Directors meets on the first Monday of each month. Members are encouraged to serve on a Committee that combines their interests and skills. The major event that is operated by the Society is the Orangeville Fair on Labour Day Weekend which involves everyone.
Operating this facility is a business venture and we are always looking for skilled people in the areas of finance, marketing, strategic planning and event planning, electrical and heating maintenance, political liaison, fund raising etc.
If you are interested we would like to hear from you. Please send a brief summary of your experience and interests to the Orangeville Agricultural Society at:
